2001- Present I have been responsible for the selection of vendors who provide cost-effective solutions and timely
delivery of compliant packaging to our end-users. I have negotiated pricing in purchasing packaging that generated company
profits of $350,000.00. In addition, I check and approve specifications on all incoming and outgoing packaging, work
on continuous improvement to line efficiencies with broad line of packaging substrates and troubleshoot packaging issues and
follow through on corrective actions. I also act as Liaison between our co-packers and packaging suppliers and am knowledgeable
of Gravure/Flexo/Offset printing process’. My position requires me to work extensively with folding cartons, laminated
films, and flexible packaging paper/poly and pressure sensitive labels. Finally, I have applicable knowledge of Adobe

1997- May 2001 I was the foodservice packaging project leader responsible for the maintenance of current packaging and the development
of new packaging alongside new product launches using multiple substrates. I also worked extensively with thermoformed
trays, clamshells, multi-wall bags, and corrugated shippers. Additional responsibilities included being the consumer
division’s alternate Channel Packaging Engineer, leading the development of all display-ready-pallets and point-of-purchase
displays and I was responsible for ensuring efficient operation of packaging at four different food service plants.
I worked with marketing and suppliers in the development of new packaging to existing product lines to increase market share
and better serve customer needs. Finally I created new packaging specifications and updated current using TOPS pallet
utilization software, CAPE and CAD and I conducted relative humidity chamber and heat seal testing, culminating in redesigned
microwave bags with resultant savings of $75,000.
